I'd like to kick off 2013 with Hannah Brencher's amazing TED talk on how handwritten love letters can change the world.

Listen and be inspired.

And, then visit The World Needs More Love Letters for more beautiful details.

I am all for infusing more love into this world.

  1. How appropriate! A lovely friend in my neighbourhood saw this TED Talk and was inspired to initiate this project, too! I am writing a secret love letter to a friend in the 'hood and I will also be receiving one. What a wonderful idea!

    Thanks for sharing!

  3. Thanks! I do an "author's guild" for my homeschool group (ages 8-11) and got your "Show Me a Story" book at the library today and loved it! I'm going to buy a copy for me and my friend. For our Feb. author's guild we'll write love letters for this website and make some crafts out of your book!

  4. Aww, this is beautiful! Many of us no longer send letters via snail mail because of faster emails today. But isn't it nice to receive one that's handwritten in a scented stationery paper (or even any kind of paper will do!) from someone that you rarely met anymore, or maybe someone that you net met but secretly feels for your uneasy day?

    1. Yes, I agree Sharon. It is so, so nice to receive something in the mail that I can feel and smell. Thanks for commenting!
